Your Impact As a member of the Google Sales team, you could be: Driving Growth: Expanding their market presence and consistently exceeding sales targets by identifying opportunities and positioning Google's diverse suite of products and services. Building Relationships: Cultivating and nurturing long-term partnerships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor, and influencing their strategic direction. Delivering Solutions: Understanding complex business objectives and translating them into actionable strategies, showcasing the value and effectiveness of Google's platforms. Collaborating Cross-Functionally: Working closely with internal teams such as Marketing, Customer Engineering, Product, and Customer Success to ensure an outstanding customer experience. Managing Portfolios: Owning a client portfolio, managing sales pipelines, and providing accurate forecasts to ensure customer success, adoption, and expansion. Types of Experience Required for Google Sales Roles : To apply for sales and sales-related roles at Google, candidates typically need to demonstrate experience in the all or some of the following areas: Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is generally required. Eligibility for Disability Inclusion Programs: These roles are specifically open to candidates who have a disability, neurodivergence, mental health, or long-term health condition. Sales and Account Management: Experience in full life-cycle sales, quota-carrying sales (especially in cloud or software), account management, or business development in enterprise software, cloud, digital advertising/media, or IT- is highly valued. Client Relationship Management: Strong skills in building and cultivating relationships with clients, including C-level executives and senior stakeholders. Data Analysis and Strategic Planning: Ability to analyse data trends, consumer insights, and develop strategic plans and compelling narratives to drive growth. Negotiation Skills: Experience in negotiating and managing complex business cycles.
