As a young company and world leader in the blue laser engraving market, we are currently working on methods to scale the power of lasers based on blue laser diodes. Construction of this type of lasers requires positioning of optical components with sub-micron accuracy. The technology we are developing can also be applied to existing products. We are looking for talented individuals with lab experience who can communicate well, work as part of a team, and achieve new opportunities with us in the medium to high power laser diode based laser market.

• Develop new products and participate in an R&D project to create and implement an innovative new multi-diode laser using power scaling and beamforming principles
• Collaborate with electronic, mechanical and optical designers to develop new products
• Design of mechanical parts and measurement attachments in CAD software (e.g. Fusion 360, ZW3D and similar)
• Plan methods and ways to carry out measurements of prototypes, and construction and adaptation of laboratory measuring stations
• Test product prototypes and search for potential problems related to quality, repeatability of production, ease of assembly and safety
• Evaluate new components and potential suppliers for availability, delivery time, and cost
• Assemble prototypes and small production runs of new products
• Assist with quality control of product components and subassemblies

• University degree: Engineer in Mechatronics (or related field), e.g.: optoelectronics, physics, photonics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering. The ideal candidate will have a Master's or PhD degree in the above fields
• Experience in a similar position (R&D) for a minimum of 2-3 years
• Knowledge of measurement methods used in laboratories, including mechanical, optical and physical measurements. Ability to operate measuring instruments
• General knowledge of technical fields.
• Experience in setting up and testing optoelectronic/laser equipment
• Strong manual and assembly skills
• Ability to think creatively and well-developed analytical skills, ability to use mathematics and statistics
• Good knowledge of MS Excel or Google Sheets
• English language at a technical communicative level
• Ability to work independently and in a team, sharing ideas

• Experience in taking a product through part of the engineering life cycle - from feasibility to production, experience in process engineering
• Experience working on an original project in any field
• Ability to efficiently solder and assemble electronic components
• Hobbies related to technical fields
• Ability to design PCBs in Eagle CAD (Fusion360)
