Opis stanowiska
Analysts are responsible for analyzing product information in order to assign Harmonized Tariff Schedule numbers. They utilize client supplied information and engineering systems to assist in identifying the form, fit and function of products. Through completing an in‐depth analysis, they ultimately classify and justify categorizations of products according to government provided regulations.

- Analyzing product information in order to assign Harmonized Tariff Schedule (classification to various tariffs).
- Categorizations of products according to government-provided regulations.
- Developing a thorough knowledge of customer desk procedures; updating and maintaining procedural changes as necessary; and providing input for process improvements.
- Reviewing client-supplied bills of material, technical materials, drawings, and other literature to ensure proper classifications are assigned.
- Communicating with client on issues regarding detailed information on items.
Wymagania
- Degree specializing in a technical field or equivalent experience is a must.
- Ability to fluently speak/read/write in English; any additional language would be an asset.
- Interest in customs and taxes.
- Good analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Access).
- Good organizational, problem-solving, communication and customer service skills.
